This song is quiet. If you’re going to seriously listen to it, you need to put on headphones, sit somewhere quiet, and listen to it at least three times. I put it on while walking around the snowy woods of Michigan, but it still feels a little like the Minotaur’s Labyrinth on Crete to me.

Stars of the Lid – Mullholland[play] [buy]

Truthfully, I haven’t fallen in love with any specific songs from this band yet, but I’m starting to give them a lot more credit. This song seemed appropriate to share. The album it came from is called, The Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid. Go figure.

And lastly, the mashup! Last.fm actually found this for me, and I was very pleased. Sort of lowfi, but if I’d seen it live it would have blown my mind. Enjoy if you’re up to it.
